Protecting Mother Earth

At Ananda Sangam, we honor Bhoomi Devi (Mother Earth) through our deep commitment to environmental protection. Inspired by the spirit of Seva (selfless service), the Bhoomi Project is a calling to restore the earth right where we live. Guided by the truth of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—that the world is one family—we believe that by healing the land, we heal ourselves and foster deeper community bonds.

True environmental change happens at the local level, fueled by connection and shared purpose. Ananda Sangam invites you to be a part of this living, breathing transformation.

Why Start Locally?
By focusing our efforts locally, we address urgent urban issues—like the heat island effect and biodiversity loss—directly. This initiative is an opportunity to move beyond surface-level support and step into genuine, transparent community investment.

Our contributions directly support volunteer-led initiatives across multiple locations in North West London and the wider capital. We are proudly partnering with the London National Park City (LNPC) Foundation to double grassroots community grants and transform “nature-hungry” neighborhoods into vibrant, healing spaces.

Where Your Support Goes

The Bhoomi Project funds a highly cost-effective, curated portfolio of 15–20 community-led urban greening projects for 2026–2027. This includes: Wildflower Meadows & Community Orchards, Tree Plantations, Pollinator Gardens, Nature-Based Community Gardens

Amplified Match Funding: We are raising £10,000 in match funding. Acting alongside the Greater London Authority (GLA) Green Roots fund, every single pound raised multiplies by unlocking broader public and philanthropic investment.
Hands-On Engagement: This is not just a financial donation. You will have the unique opportunity to get your hands in the earth and work directly on the ground alongside local community groups and Rangers. You could even plant your own tree!
